All of our favorite late night shows returned this week to kick off the new year with movie stars, political stars, and musical performances that were way better than getting a good night’s sleep. Take a look at our picks for the best late night clips of the week.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Stevie Wonder Serenades Michelle Obama

After an emotional goodbye speech from her husband, the First Lady appeared on Fallon in a nonpartisan lovefest that featured a giddy serenade from superstar Stevie Wonder featuring his hits “Isn’t She Lovely” and “My Cherie Amour.” We dare you to try to not sing along.

Late Night with Seth Meyers: Seth Interviews Kellyanne Conway

Meyers has been openly critical of President-elect Trump which is part of why it was such a coup for him to interview Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. Meyers launched into a 13-minute interview of Conway including questions about the newly released Russian hacking revelations. Meyers managed to stay funny while conducting a legitimately insightful political interview. We feel like this kid’s got a real future.

Jimmy Kimmel Live: Dax Shepard and Michael Pena Debut ‘CHiPs’ Trailer

Shepard and Pena arrived on motorcycles to promote their new film based on the classic 70s show “CHiPs.” OK, so the motorcycles were being dragged by propmasters because those things are super hard to actually drive, but we’d still pull to the shoulder to let these comics cruise on by. They also debuted the trailer for the film which looks way funnier than getting a ticket for an illegal U-turn.
