The critically acclaimed 2014 Emmy®-nominated second season takes a peek into the colorful and never-before-seen world of sports mascots. Told from four mascots’ perspectives, Behind the Mask takes an authentic look at the sports world’s most unsung heroes.

Joel Zimei, dubbed the Cal Ripken of mascots, has never missed a game in his 15 years as the ever-popular “Lou Seal” for the San Francisco Giants.

Chris Hall is a 25-year-old freelance mascot who struggles with autism and severe anxiety, but is passionate about mascotting and finds an inner strength and confidence when inside a mascot suit.

The first female mascot to appear on the show, 17-year-old Navey Baker is the embodiment of her “Tiger” character – fierce, confident and the king of her jungle: Gilbert High School in Gilbert Arizona.

Returning from season one, AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton mascot Chad is giving it one last shot to make it to the pros.
