With rising stakes around border politics and police corruption running deep, FX’s “The Bridge” offers intense and bone-chilling suspense that makes a drama series a success.
Today, I’m excited to announce that Hulu is the exclusive streaming destination to watch the first season of the award-winning series “The Bridge.” In anticipation of the second season premiere on FX next month, viewers can watch all 13 episodes starring Diane Kruger and Oscar nominee Demián Bichir.
“The Bridge” creator Elwood Reid weighed in on the pay off of power-viewing the series by saying, “How great is it that Hulu viewers get a chance to experience our first season and catch up on what they may have missed as we prepare to launch our second season in July? “The Bridge” introduces the audience to the captivating, but wildly divergent worlds of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and follows El Paso homicide Detective Sonya Cross and her Mexican counterpart, Detective Marco Ruiz. Together, they hunt an elusive killer who appears to be using border politics to justify his actions. The hunt for the killer quickly turns personal and starts and ends aptly on The Bridge of the Americas, where our characters lives are forever changed.”
“The Bridge” was adapted for American television from the international hit series “Bron/Broen,” which was set on the border of Denmark and Sweden and already has an exclusive home on Hulu.
The American series was recently awarded the Peabody Award for raising awareness of border issues and last year, “The Bridge” was honored with the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Most Exciting New Series.
The second season of “The Bridge” premieres on FX beginning July 9, so make sure to get up to date on this compelling murder mystery!
