A few weeks ago, I came home and found my 10 year old daughter watching “The Brady Bunch.” I sat down and got to relive some very Brady childhood memories with America’s favorite TV family. Now, with the expansion of our partnership with CBS, new generations can watch this iconic show, and come to understand the epic saga between Jan and her sister “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.”
I’m excited to announce that Hulu will now have access to more than 5,300 episodes from the CBS content library. With a new collection of TV classics on the service, Hulu is spreading the nostalgia with throwbacks to shows we all loved growing up.
Subscribers can go back to where everybody knows your name with “Cheers,” and a time when Fonzie and the gang were rockin’ all week for you on “Happy Days,” or watch beloved series like “Taxi,” Laverne and Shirley” and “The Odd Couple.”
Viewers can discover some of the best shows of the 90s, including sitcoms like “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “Wings,” beloved primetime soap “Melrose Place,” and hit family series full of valuable life lessons, “7th Heaven.”
We’re also offering fantastic shows from the past decade, including award-winning series like Showtime’s “United States of Tara” and “The L Word,” hilarious coming-of-age sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris,” fan favorites “Ghost Whisperer,” “Jericho,” “Flashpoint” and “Ringer,” and reality shows “Undercover Boss” and “Australia’s Next Top Model.”
As part of this expansion, there’s more content coming to Hulu Kids, including films starring timeless characters like Charlie Brown, Dr. Seuss, Puff the Magic Dragon and Strawberry Shortcake, among others.
Additionally, fans will be able to catch up with more recently acquired hit CBS programming on Hulu, including police drama “Blue Bloods,” launching this June, and highly-rated crime drama “Elementary.” The Sherlock Holmes-inspired show will stream exclusively on Hulu, and we look forward to launching full seasons in the future.
All of this great content is in addition to CBS titles already popular on the service like “The Good Wife,” “I Love Lucy,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “Star Trek,” and top reality shows “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race.”
We’re excited to announce the new additions to our Hulu service as part of our mission to be the ultimate destination for the best TV content of the past and present. So the next time you’re feeling nostalgic, you know where to go. Happy watching!
