AdZone IV: Puppies and Patriotism

February 2nd, 2014 by Katherine Rea

While Super Bowl XLVIII wasn’t exactly a nail-biter, the ads during this year’s game were better than ever. It looks like all you AdZone voters had a penchant for puppies and patriotism this year … two of the best things, really. Here’s a closer look at this year’s Top 5 game-day ads on Hulu. You can check out all of this year’s spots in the Hulu AdZone, where the ads are ranked based on Facebook likes.

In fifth place we have “Toyota: Terry Crews and the Muppets.” Having the former NFL player drive around singing with Gonzo, Animal, and the rest of the Muppets gang is pretty darn endearing.

Fourth place goes to “Audi: Doberhuahua,” which was definitely one of the funniest ads this year. We’re all for adopting dogs in need of good homes instead of creating new Frankenbreeds (or as Audi calls it, “compromise”).

Budweiser: A Hero’s Welcome” nabbed third place with this heartwarming homecoming.

This multilingual rendition of “America the Beautiful” secured second place for “Coca-Cola: It’s Beautiful.”

And finally (drumroll, please), in first place, the most-liked and most-shared ad of AdZone 2014 by far was “Budweiser: Puppy Love,” set to Passenger’s “Let Her Go.” We dare you to not tear up during this one ;)
