I don’t know what is wrong with this app, but I was only able to watch one show before the app crashed causing me to hard-powerdown my wiiU. I had to do this twice now. Please fix!

Hulu, I am very disappointed with this app. It’s half-baked and extremely unstable. My Wii U keeps crashing every few hours while using this. No other app has caused this. Also, I agree with the others here about not being able to use the gamepad to watch and browse w/o the TV. Please fix this app.

How about a googletv app (or not block googletv web browser)? Googletv has been around longer and has more customers and yet no Hulu … Can we get a not precanned answer and tell us an absolute “no we don’t want to do it because of ….”

I agree with Josh in Denver. The app is half-baked. You NEED to turn the TV on to use it. I’m all for a deep second-screen experience, but the first step should be to make sure it works independently on both screens. I shouldn’t need to ever turn my TV on to use Hulu Plus on my Wii U. Netflix and Amazon Instant Video got this right. Hulu and YouTube both screwed it up.

Soon as INSIGNIA (BluRay) releases an update to support Hulu Plus so I can stream it to my television, I’ll happily subscribe. But I’m not paying to sit at my computer desk to watch TV.

Insignia doesn’t stand to gain anything by developing a firmware update… but you do. Ball’s in your court.

If Adobe Flash and web browsers didn’t provide you with “device” identifying info, couldn’t everyone simply watch the same exact Hulu website? You exclude Boxee Box and other devices from watching the Ad-Supported Hulu site but only because you have the ability to identify and restrict devices from seeing the same website I’m looking at right now in my browser. Why is this?

The app works GREAT overall BUT you have to be on your TVs Wii U input in order to select each show before you can start it on the gamepad, whereas on the Netflix app you can have your TV off and just use the gamepad from start of the Netflix app to finish (granted you have to select to move the movie to the gamepad but the actual movie selection is done on the gamepad and you can switch the movie to your gamepad without turning on your TV/being on the Wii U input of your TV). Again great app but this is a major draw back considering the purpose of the Wii U gamepad, I recommend an update as soon as possible :P
