Are you ready, kids? Current season Nickelodeon shows are now available on Hulu Plus.

October 9th, 2012 by Andy Forssell Acting CEO and SVP of Content

With three young kids of my own, I’m reminded daily of the power of the Nickelodeon brand and the quality of their shows.  That’s why I am so excited about today’s announcement: as of today, Hulu Plus is the only subscription-based on-demand Internet video provider that offers current season Nickelodeon programming. Kids can watch the latest five episodes of their favorite Nickelodeon shows online, on connected TVs, set-top boxes, video game consoles and mobile devices. All Nickelodeon programming will be available on Hulu Plus without advertising, 21 days after air.

With Hulu Plus, kids and teens can catch up on the latest episodes of the new (and final) season of “iCarly” whenever, wherever they want. We’ll also have shows featuring all of their favorite Nick Stars, including the boy band heartthrobs of “Big Time Rush,” Victoria Justice of “VICTORiOUS,” Cymphonique Miller of “How to Rock” and the Ninjas of “Supah Ninjas.”

Keeping things animated, the lovable citizens of Bikini Bottom and the Furious Five have joined in on the fun, too. Hulu Plus now offers new episodes of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “The Penguins of Madagascar,” “Winx Club,” “Robot & Monster,” “The Legend of Korra” and “T.U.F.F. Puppy,” among others. After its anticipated premiere, your favorite ninjas-in-training can also watch new episodes of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” on their phones while on the go.

In addition to the Nickelodeon programming we added to Hulu Plus, we are also broadening our Hulu Latino selection on Hulu Plus to include content from Viacom’s network for bilingual young Latinos, Tr3s. Over the next few months, we will begin adding Tr3s content to Hulu Latino – from the charm school chicas of “Niñas Mal” to the popular series following diverse Latino families facing major rites of passage, “Quiero Mis Quinces,” “Quiero Mi Boda and “Quiero Mi Baby.”

And of course, as election season heats up, it’s important to remember that “The Colbert Report” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” remain available the day after airing on Comedy Central on the free Hulu service and in HD on the Hulu Plus subscription service.

Hulu Plus will continue to offer current season and library programming on Hulu Plus from Viacom’s family of networks including MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, SPIKE, TV Land and BET. The broad content offering includes more great Viacom programming like BET’s “American Gangster,” MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” Logo’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Spike TV’s “1000 Ways to Die” and VH1’s “Basketball Wives” and “Mob Wives,” among so many others.

We hope you enjoy the content that comes to you as a result of this expanded partnership with Viacom.

What about older episodes of Spongebob? Is there anything in the works?

  • Miranda says:

I noticed that The Legend of Korra only has the last five episodes of season one. Will y’all be adding the rest of the first season?

Is tmnt going to have all season 1 episodes only seeing from 18-26?

  • Sorry for the wait! We should have episode 26 up on or around the 14th of October. Thanks for your patience!

    I meant SEASON 5 not season 3!

What is going on with the last 3 episodes of Winx Club season 3, on Hulu Plus? My girls are driving me crazy wanting to know when it will be available. It’s usually up in 21 days.

  • Hey Blake,

Sorry about the confusion regarding the availability of those shows. Currently Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly OddParents are on hiatus, but Spongebob is available 21 days after its original air date. Fairly OddParents does not have a set availability, but hopefully we will gain the new episodes shortly after they air on TV. If there is anything else I can address, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Is there any reason that no new episodes of Spongebob and Fairly OddParents have been added? My son has been watching the same episodes of each for far too long.

  • Justin says:

Awesome! I noticed you added ‘The Legend Of Korra’ to the line-up, unfortunately, you only have the last 5 episodes of the season. Is there any way that you could get the first few episodes? Thanks!

My kids will be happy ! Thanks
