  • The most advanced of all 4 3D TV technologies is stereoscopic active technology, and 3D TVs that use this technology usually carry a pretty expensive price tag. Similarly, different brands and models of 3D TVs are available in the marking; so you need to make an analysis and comparison of different features in order to decide the most appropriate 3D TV for your home. If you are buying a 3D TV for the first time, it is quite safe for you to go for a brand that has a standing reputability in the 3D TV industry with regards to their product quality and customer satisfaction. In fact, a bunch of 3D TV reviews would help you find enough information on this aspect.

  • Hi Ken,

Thanks for posting. While we don’t support Apple TV at the moment, we’d love to add Hulu Plus to it in the future. However, before we can, we need to have the streaming rights for our content in place. In addition, we also need agreements in place with our content providers and Apple itself.

  • Hi Nina,

Sorry about that. We were able to add a handful of VIERA Cast models to our list of supported Panasonic devices, so if you’re seeing Hulu Plus on the interface, it’s likely a supported model. We’d be able to give you some more information if you can give us your specific model number at http://hulu.com/support .

  • Nina Hale says:

I can see Hulu Plus in my Viera Cast interface, but I can’t figure out how to install it? It seems like there is some talk here about it not being supported, but if I can see it, wouldn’t that mean that it’s installable? Please give instructions on how to install it. If it’s not supported, you should absolutely make sure it’s removed from there, otherwise it’s a terrible customer experience.

  • Brandi says:

HULU PLUS is showing up on my BDT210. On the third menu page. If its not showing up on yours, check for a firmware update.

  • Bob Held says:

I’ve been waiting patiently since April 2011 when I bought my Panasonic Viera Cast BD player for the announced ‘coming soon’ hulu support.

Viera Connect only? You have got to be kidding. Show me a BD player on Panasonic’s site that is not Viera Cast. I clicked a few and not one said it was Viera Connect. That appears to just be their TV’s.

    Your marketing is Misleading.

I’ve been with Hulu+ since it was first offered as beta …. I will not be staying around for more of this sort of non-sense.

  • Heather says:

I got so excited last night after hooking up my Panasonic Viera blu-ray player…searched the menu to find my Hulu Plus and…like everyone here I’m severely disappointed. Only difference, I found this website today, albeit after my disappointment, rather than suffering everyone’s same frustration of going thru the email exchange with Hulu. :( I guess I’ll be keeping the Netflix subscription afterall.

  • Jadey Hansen says:

    Hey Larry,

I have the same model and the same problem you are having. Apparently there was a software update that was supposed to remedy this situation on Viera Connect models (which ours is), but NOT Viera Cast models (which ours is not).

Of course as we both know, it has not remedied the situation and you and I might need to make the switch from Hulu to Netflix streaming.

I have contacted the support team, but have stopped receiving responses from them… Just got the one mentioned on here clearly stating that Viera Connect models were supported, and my other few e-mails asking for further help have been ignored.

    Good luck!

  • Hey Larry,

Sorry about that. Please get in touch with us at http://hulu.com/support so we can help figure out what’s going on.

I have a Panasoinc TV with Viera connect, model TC-P42S30. Same as others here are saying though, it does not show up on my list. How do i get this corrected?

  • Hi Cody,

Contact us at http://hulu.com/support with your model number and we’ll be able to address that more specifically.

  • Cody List says:

“Thanks for your post. At this time, we’re only supporting VIERA Connect models, not VIERA Cast. We’d love to support more models in the future, so keep an eye out.”

That’s kinda of misleading… Once a Panasonic owner update the Firmware they now have VIERA Connect. So shouldn’t the Hulu Plus App be available to anyone that has VIERA Connect?

  • Hi Adam,

Thanks for your post. It looks like your model is not a supported model at this time, but keep checking back as we’re always adding to the list of supported devices. My sincere apologies for the disappointment.

    Hulu Support

  • Hi Merri-Lee,

Thanks for your thoughtful post. We understand the disappointment here. We’re working hard to post a complete (and most importantly, live) list of supported devices. Because they’re always changing, this is a little bit less simple than just posting a list.

While we can’t support VieraCast models right now, we are always evaluating ways to expand our line to more models and more brands, so it’s not been narrowed out. Though there’s nothing to announce right now, keep an eye out in the future.

  • Larry (Not the Cable Guy) says:

I have a Panasonic Blu-ray and do NOT have Hulu. Was told by the store I bought it from it will be available soon to all Panasonic internet ready devices. I’ve email Panasonic several times with no response.

  • Adam says:

I have a Panasonic TC-P50GT25, and recently recieved a firmware update converting my Viera Cast to Viera Connect. Hulu Plus does not appear on the menu, nor in the market, and I was wondering when I could expect it. Your site says that it is available on all Viera Connect models, so I was wondering what was up. Thanks.

  • Mike says:

I have viera connect on my panasonic TV, but I can’t find Hulu plus in the marketplace. When will it be available for viera connect?

  • Merri-Lee Stine says:

I have to say that I am disappointed by the *misleading* lack of information that has been put forth by Hulu related to the Panasonic Viera Blu-Ray players.

I have also been waiting anxiously for these players to be supported and was excited to see that the email notification came through saying support had been added. I spent a couple of nights trying and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and why I couldn’t find Hulu on the menus- Hulu tells me it should work!

After quite some time searching on yet another night, after I had given up the ship on the player itself, I finally stumbled on the comment buried in this blog entry saying that only “VIERAConnect” players, not “VIERACast” players are supported.

I ask you, Hulu-powers-that-be, if you were the customer….how would you feel? You have paid your monthly fee, in good faith. Waited patiently. Got excited. Got frustrated. Got shot down.

We still love the service. We aren’t going anywhere. Not going to pretend I am canceling, but I am disappointed.

May I suggest that this be clarified on the website please? thx. :-D

    Hi Lance,

Thanks for your post. It’s simply not true that The Daily Show is no longer on Hulu Plus. What is giving you this impression? I’d love to address this if it’s missing in any way.

You can also send questions to http://bit.ly/HuluHelp where we’re better equipped to get to things rapidly.

  • Ryan Swain says:

Is there a list of the Panasonic Blu-ray players that now have Hulu? I have been waiting for Panasonic to be added to the devices, but it seems my device is not one of them.

  • Lance Cummings says:

Correction. The Daily Show is no longer on Hulu Plus, taking its value down quite a notch.

  • Ryan Maughan says:

What devices are supported? I have been awaiting this update and am very pleased. I checked for it on my device and I did not see it, so I checked for a firmware update but none were available. Can you post a list of panasonics models supported?

  • David Blakeslee says:

This is very good news, I’ve been waiting for this since the first day I subscribed to Hulu Plus earlier this year. However, I just tried my Panasonic blu-ray player and I don’t see Hulu on the VieraCast menu. Furthermore, I’m in chat with Panasonic support and the man I’m connected to has no information about Panasonic being Hulu compatible.

Please let me know what I can expect re: a firmware update for the Panasonic Viera line of blu-ray players, if you have any access to that information.
