Japanese Earthquake Response: How to Help

March 15th, 2011 by Ben Collins Editor

Hulu is deeply saddened by the tragic earthquake and tsunami that has killed and injured thousands in Japan.

The devastating images and stories of missing loved ones have affected us all. We’ve provided links to some trustworthy organizations to which you can donate that will help out the relief efforts from Sendai to Tokyo.

Donating $10 to the American Red Cross to fund the disaster response is as simple as texting REDCROSS to 90999. You can also call the American Red Cross donations line at 1-800-733-2767.

To donate directly to the Japanese Red Cross, you can visit this helpful Google landing site, which will even help you convert American dollars to yen.

And the historically heroic organization Doctors Without Borders is now banding together doctors in makeshift relief sites to help out Japan’s inundated hospitals. You can donate to their cause here.

Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this tragedy.
