Those of you who know the truly great love stories of our time — we’re talking about Luke and Laura and Bo and Hope here — may have already noticed a new development on Hulu: we’re now streaming current, full-length episodes of two of TV’s more popular soap operas: General Hospital and Days of Our Lives. (Episodes will be available for a limited time.) These currents join our lineup of classic soap opera episodes: Another World, As the World Turns and Guiding Light.
Our new daytime lineup also includes The View, the talk show from ABC where ABC News correspondent Barbara Walters joins Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd to discuss the day’s news, from politics to Hollywood. Our schedule will match the daytime schedule and episodes will be available for seven days after they air. (Because the show is off this week, you’ll see some repeats until new episodes return.)

With the cancellation of OLTL and AMC, is there any possibility of Hulu purchasing the rights of these shows from ABC?
