Same-Day Anime Coming Thursday

April 8th, 2009 by Rebecca Harper Editor

A special treat for all our anime fans: Our partner VIZ Media is once again providing same-day streaming of the latest Naruto Shippuden episode, so that it’s available in the States the same day it airs in Japan. “The Four-Corner Sealing Barrier” will be posted early Thursday morning; check for it on the Naruto Shippuden show page: www.hulu.com/naruto-shippuden. In this week’s episode, the Leaf ninja attempt to seal the Three-Tailed Beast — a feat that will require a rematch battle as Kiba once again faces Kigiri, Nurari and Kihou.

Don’t know Kiba from Kihou? Catch up on the entire Naruto storyline here on Hulu, from the original Naruto series to the next generation of Naruto adventures, Naruto Shippuden. More episodes are added weekly, and if you like anime, check out our anime channel, which features 30 titles, from Big Windup (just in time for baseball season) to Bleach.

I was so happy when i saw that anime was on Hulu. Although I would love to see more dubbs, I enjoy watching the dubs because I can look at the characters facial expressions and scenery more than if I was restricted to watching dubbs. Either way I will still watch them, thanks for the upload. =D

I am a person who prefers subs to dubs, something is lost when dubs are in place. I am sure most people would prefer both subs and dubs so everyone is happy, but I think the faster something comes out the better, so getting anime the same day as japan is fantastic. I am sure most people will be fine with subs at the moment and dubs being added later. On a side note, I hope to see more same day anime (and anime in general) from japan. Anyway, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I would have to agree. While i will def not turn down the above content. And perhaps it is due to me having to go find all my fav anime over the years but I prefer dubbed anime. Seams more…accurate? *shrug*

I was just wondering if hulu has any dubbed versions of the anime. I don’t really mind the shows subbed, but if hulu have the dubbed anime, then I would like to know. Thanks, persia.
