More Fall Shows on the Way

September 4th, 2008 by Rebecca Harper Editor

To keep you in the loop about the new fall TV season, Hulu is partnering with Entertainment Weekly and its Fall TV Preview, which hits newsstands tomorrow, September 5. But you can get a taste of fall TV online, too: EW.com’s PopWatch blog highlights its critics’ favorite shows and even has exclusive video blogs in the works.

EW Fall TV Preview

So far this week, the PopWatch blog has talked up Kitchen Nightmares, which has its second-season premiere on Hulu tomorrow. In the two-part premiere episode, sharp-tongued chef Gordon Ramsay revisits some of the restaurants he tried to revamp in Season 1. We have the entire run of Kitchen Nightmares, so you don’t miss a single insult — like the one below — from the first season.

EW’s PopWatch blog also calls out Life, “that show you never watched.” This police drama follows a cop who gets his badge back after spending 12 years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. But Detective Crews isn’t bitter — he found peace in prison, so instead of throwing punches, he doles out Zen-like quotations when he’s provoked. Sound intriguing? You catch the full run of the first season of Life just in time for its sophomore debut, which will be available on Hulu September 22 — one week before it airs on TV.

Keep posted for more updates,
Rebecca

The talk of upcoming shows makes me wonder if Hulu has a way to informed everyone as shows are added to the list. Most of us have already gone through the trouble of cherry picking the shows we wish to subscribe to. However I don’t see a way for people to get updates as new shows are added. If there is a way I would love to hear about it. If not, could you consider adding such a feature? Possibly in our subscription e-mail.

Nice coup debuting Life on Hulu before it shows on television.
